Monkey and The Tortoise
Why I bought the Monkey and Tortoise Carnelian…
Actually they reminds me of a story my mother told me when I was a child. She said…

Once upon a time there lived a monkey and a tortoise. They loved each other so dearly that where ever they went, it would be together and what ever one gets they’d share it together. “We will never desert one another, not as long as we live.” That was what they promised to each other. One day as they were roaming around in searched for food nearby a river, they saw a young banana plant floating just beside the river-bed. They thought if they could have their own banana plant they wouldn’t have to go out looking for food anymore. So they decided to plant it together.
The banana plant grew bigger and bigger each day until finally it started to bear fruits. They were very excited as they waited for the fruits to ripe. At last the banana fruit ripen. And together they went for the banana. While the monkey climbed for the banana the tortoise waited down. The monkey ate the flesh and threw down the skin to the tortoise, one after another, again and again. The tortoise said to the monkey, “Let me have the flesh as well, I wanted to taste it as much as you do.” But the monkey has become greedy that he ignored the tortoise. The tortoise felt cheated, frustrated he walked away from the monkey and never ever be seen together again.
